THE CHARACTER OF THE SURFACE

Grey with room for every shade.

Luserna stone creates walls where greys and beiges alternate without a repeating pattern. Mixed tumbled formats give the surface a timeworn character, while the rock-faced finish creates more pronounced relief. Split-face pieces offer another rhythm for plinths and sections of wall.

Relief changes the project.

Format alone does not decide the final effect: joint width, piece orientation and grazing light all change the wall. To choose, look at a group of pieces from the selection, rather than only the most uniform slab.

Luserna meets mosaic.

The thin 1–2 cm variants introduce an irregular mosaic texture to the Luserna range. Mixed and blue-grey versions have their own colour selections; irregular edges make it important to choose the joints and distribution of pieces together.

USEFUL QUESTIONS

Before you choose.

What does rock-faced mean?

This finish leaves parts of the exposed face raised. The Luserna Scozzese product information describes a supply containing some rock-faced pieces and some flatter ones: assess the sample as a whole.

Are Luserna and Luserna Greca interchangeable?

The catalogue presents selections with different commercial names. This page links to products labelled Pietra Luserna; for a selection called Luserna Greca, check its own product information without automatically assuming the same origin.

Are corner pieces available?

The mixed-size tumbled variant has a matching corner product. Buy the piece for the same model, checking the sales unit and dimensions.

Is thin mosaic the same format as the tumbled pieces?

No. The linked variants are irregular pieces approximately 1–2 cm thick, with a natural quarry surface. They differ from the range's tumbled formats, split-face pieces and assembled modules.
