Porch wall clad in travertine with a rustic surface · Pietrarredo archive
THE CHARACTER OF THE SURFACE
The warmth of a timeless material.
Travertine shapes a wall through pores, tonal variations and relief. Noce offers a split-face interpretation, while Borgo Toscano adds a tumbled finish. The result can complement rural architecture or bring a warm note to a pared-back space.
Joints are part of the colour.
A light, sandy or stone-toned joint changes the wall's appearance. Prepare a small layout sample before installation: it helps you choose proportions, pointing and corner junctions.
Strips or Borgo Toscano?
Travertine strips in 15 × 55 cm modules create a horizontal rhythm across four rows. Borgo Toscano is composed of loose pieces with an aged surface: a different expression of the travertine family.

FROM THE MATERIAL TO THE WALL
The project is in the details.
Layout and joints
Loose pieces; the commercial square metre for the Noce variant allows for joints of approximately 2 cm.
To establish before installation
Joints and laying patterns change material consumption. Choose cleaners and treatments compatible with limestone; do not apply data for other varieties to the selection you purchase.
Are Noce Travertine and Borgo Toscano the same product?+
They belong to the travertine family but have different finishes and appearances. The linked Noce product is split-faced with a sawn back; Borgo Toscano is also brushed to create an aged look.
Does the price per square metre allow for joints?+
The Noce product information allows for joints of approximately 2 cm in the commercial square metre. Narrower joints change the quantity needed: check coverage and waste before ordering.
Does it need a protective treatment?+
This depends on exposure, absorption and how the wall will be used. Ask for a compatible product and test it on a sample: the treatment may change the colour.
Is strip travertine the same as Noce or Borgo Toscano?+
No. The 15 × 55 cm panel variant has four rows and is 2–3 cm thick. Noce and Borgo Toscano are loose-piece claddings with their own finishes and dimensions.
